The Las Vegas Raiders Report Podcast was live streamed last night as the guys are back in action after an exciting and offense-filled Super Bowl. The crew breaks down some interesting parallels from the game, breaks down the tight end position outlook for the Raiders, and do a round-robin Sliver and Black du jour.
Raider Nation woke up Monday feeling pretty good for one reason and one reason only: the New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl 52 was a record-breaking game in so many ways, it’s worthy of a good chat and that’s what the fellas do in this one. According to both Winter and Gutierrez, there were some eerie similarities to what happened to New England and what happened to the Raiders in their last Super Bowl appearance.
Is the Patriots dynasty on the downward slope? The team has lots of disagreement about that and discuss what’s on the horizon for Bill Belichick and Tom Brady in the next few seasons.
We then explore our own Hayden Nadolny’s latest positional breakdown piece, this time looking at the Raiders tight ends and where they could possibly go in free agency. With a pretty weak free agency class, there might not be a lot of movement for Oakland in the off season.
Gutierrez and Winter also talk in detail about their weekend visit to the newly opened Raiders Preview Center in Las Vegas. Part museum, part sales office, the guys were really impressed with the visit.
