The November Las Vegas Stadium Authority meeting answered some key questions about the Raiders Community Benefits plan. We discuss in our new podcast.

Once again, a small segment of community activists complained about the Raiders Community Benefits plan, this despite the plan’s aggressive and representative approach to inclusion. The Raiders, in the plan, call for 38% of the construction labor on the stadium to be from “targeted groups.” Those groups include women, minorities, veterans, LGBT, and others. In addition, after the stadium is open for business, that number jumps to 55%.

The Raiders says no other stadium community benefits plan has committed so much to those targeted groups.

We run through this an the rest of the issues discussed during the meeting. Scott Gulbransen and Scott Winter host.

Tommy White, Business Manager of the Laborers Local 872 joins us for an informative interview about the group’s efforts to bring the Raiders to Las Vegas and their future building the new stadium.
