Two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks has stated his distaste for the team leaving Oakland, but is a long time member of Raider Nation.

His closeness with former Raiders QB Ken Stabler was clearly on display by his letter to Stabler’s daughter not long after Stabler died. In the letter, Hanks said: “Your father, with his left-handedness and those two bad knees, displayed a permanent smile of bemusement that said — win or lose — ‘ain’t this fun?’ I really did see in him the honor to be found in playing the game, of taking pleasure in the effort.” Hanks claims to boycott the NFL for 2 years because of the move to Vegas, but we will see how that goes for a Raider die-hard like himself.
